Navigating burnout webinar 14 March
Join me in an honest and practical panel conversation on addressing burnout on 14 March at 17h CET / 4pm GMT. We’ll discuss how to spot warning signs of looming burnout in others and in yourself, and we’ll offer really practical ideas for how you can support your colleagues and what you can do to buttress yourself. We’re looking at this from a CHRO lens, but the learnings apply more widely as well.
This conversation will be hosted by Key Search’s Franziska Palumbo-Seidel, a fervent advocate of moving towards healthier, more sustainable HR practices. This aligns beautifully with my own mission of making work more human.
The webinar panel have jointly written an article about navigating burnout among CHROs, which was published by Key Search in November. In that article I wrote about what CHROs can do to regain a sense of control and forward motion when they are feeling depleted and overwhelmed. You can read the full article here.
I am hopeful that conversations like this will help make it easier to talk about a sense of exhaustion or overwhelm and prevent more CHROs and other leaders from burning themselves out. It is not weakness to recognize exhaustion in yourself. It is a signal that you have to manage your own energy and attention. You will be of no use to anyone if you burn yourself out.
